To be fair... the guy could have been doing this for multiple scenes and ruining perfect takes...

But at first blush... not a good look for Mr. Bateman.

Kinda feel bad for the guy but as others have said, it might have happened multiple times. At the very least, you can see how serious Bale is about his acting. Also, this is a pretty cool behind-the-scenes "look" at what happens on a movie-set.

And yes, this would've been awesome if he had his Batman voice on. "Tell me you're not going to walk-in on my scene ever again. SWEAR TO ME!!!"

This is gonna come off the wrong way, but have you guys ever been on a movie set? It can be really, really tense. At times its similar to a sports environment as far as stress level. Not necessarily excusing his behavior, but directors do this regularly enough. It's the assistant director's JOB to do this to people. Literally, it's his job to yell at people.

Listening to the audio, he wasn't really threatening to trash the lights. He was drawing a comparison to the DP ruining his scene. Again, not "good" behavior, but I guarantee that there are 1000s of stories like this throughout Hollywood that never come out.

Now I am starting to believe that he really did strike his mom back when he was arrested for assault right before Batman was released. The dude is the worst kind of person- a diva with a temper. Btw, he is on facebook (its really him) in the Los Angeles network but his privacy settings are maxed out. I found him by looking at the friends list of a producer from the howard Stern show. You would be surprised how many REAL celebs are on facebook.
